The shaft — hand-tooled laughing horses

Look closely at the shaft and you will see why it is called Laughing Horse. Galloping horses are tooled into the cream leather by hand, then burnished in light and dark so they rise from the surface in a three-dimensional relief — heads thrown back, manes flying, full of life and movement.
