Introducing Drinking Horse in Pine Moss — a tall western boot in rich forest-green python, and one of the most unexpectedly wearable exotics we make. Genuine python covers the boot from toe to shaft in a deep, glossy olive green, the large natural scales shifting between moss, olive and almost-black as the light moves across them. It is earthy and luxurious at once — a color drawn straight from the forest floor. 

Green is the surprise neutral: it sits beautifully with denim, tan, cream, black and brown, yet feels far more original than any of them. And because python is a genuine exotic skin, every scale is natural, so no two pairs are ever exactly the same — each boot is its own patch of forest.

Why “Pine Moss”?

This green is the moss — il muschio, as we say in Italy — that grows soft and deep beneath the pine trees in the Montana forest. Walk in among the pines on a damp morning and the whole floor glows this exact shade: cool, green and alive, dappled with light and shadow. We carried that quiet forest colour into our most precious python. Pine Moss is a walk under the pines, made into a boot — calming, grounding and rooted in nature, with a nod to the Italian hands that craft it.

Fun fact: real python, never the same twice

Because Pine Moss is made from genuine python, the scale pattern is entirely natural — no two skins, and no two pairs, are ever identical. The fine, supple scales soften and mould to your foot over time, and the deep green only grows richer with wear. It is a true collector's leather, made to be lived in.

How to wear it

Forest green is an effortless, modern neutral. Wear Pine Moss with blue or white denim and a cream knit for easy everyday, with tan, camel and brown for a rich tonal autumn look, or with black for a sharper edge. Designed in Montana and handmade in Italy, each pair features a premium leather lining and cushioned insole. Every boot is entirely handmade, with particular care taken over the sole — hand-built and hand-finished for lasting comfort and durability. We use tree resin instead of chemical glue and cork filling for support, so your feet stay dry and comfortable. Each pair is stitched and tooled by hand — frontier-tough boots that conform to the wearer over time and become more beautiful with every year.
