Why “Bitterroot”?
We named this pink for the bitterroot — the wildflower that is Montana's state flower, and one of the first to bloom across the dry hillsides each summer in a burst of vivid pink. Low to the ground and impossibly bright, it is small, tough and unforgettable: exactly the spirit of this boot. Bitterroot is a little piece of a Montana summer, carried on your feet — bold, native and full of joy.
