The whole boot is wrapped in real python, and the warm tan brings out every detail of the skin — the fine scales, the gentle shifts from light caramel to deeper amber where the leather catches the light. The color of the river:

This warm brown comes straight from the water — which is exactly why we call it Trout Brown. It is the colour you see in the Montana rivers where we fly fish: the golden-brown of sunlit gravel beds and smooth river stones, and of the wild brown trout that hold in the current. It is the most honest, natural colour there is, and wearing it feels a little like carrying a Montana river with you wherever you go.

How to wear it:

In the city: tan is the new neutral. Wear the Hidden Lake with white denim and a camel coat, with tailored cream or chocolate trousers, or under a flowing midi dress. Light brown sits beautifully with white, navy, olive, denim and every shade of brown, so it slips into almost any outfit while the python keeps it special.

In the countryside: lean into its natural warmth. Style them with worn-in blue jeans and a cream cable knit, a corduroy skirt and thick tights, or a soft wool dress and a suede or shearling jacket.
