Why “Sagebrush”?

This colour is the wild sage that grows all over our property and along the trails we hike through the Gallatin Valley. The deer and the wildlife love these bushes, and we find them again along the riverbanks when we fly fish — and the smell, that clean, green, peppery scent of crushed sage, transports me straight into a perfect, peaceful world. Sagebrush is that exact soft green: wild, calming and unmistakably Montana

stingray, the toughest leather there is Stingray is one of the most resilient leathers on earth. Its surface is covered in tiny calcified beads — the same skin once known as shagreen, prized for centuries by Japanese samurai to wrap their sword handles because it never slipped and never wore out. It is naturally waterresistant, scratch-resistant and remarkably hard-wearing, which is why a stingray boot is truly a boot for life — it shrugs off everything and only looks better with the years.
